Obviously once you download and install an app from the Google play store for your android phone then a shortcut will come up as default on the home screen.
You must have noticed that every app that you download then
obtains a little shortcut icon on the home screen, this might not
be an issue to some but to those who accumulates apps on their
phones, this makes the home scren so clustered.
Since we all don’t like clustered screen we find ourselves spending time trying to organize the home screen and removing the unnecessary apps. Obviously not all the apps that we installed or automatically install deserves to be in the collage of apps on the home screen. And having in the mind that some launcher and the android phone usually offers a little space of the home screen for the apps that are installed, that being said it’s annoying to have an app that you rarely use taking a substantial amount of space that could have been taken up by other useful app that you will be of use to you.
Taking android as the ideal example, they have the app drawer where all the apps that you have go to then the home screen is only hoard for the most frequently use apps. The other good thing about it is that you don’t have the limit as to how many pages you can have on the home screen or even the number of shortcuts you will add to it. To have the home screen organize as we all wish we can have the only favorite app appear or even have a single app appear on the home screen this might at least make the home screen more organized.
Google play store provides some option to disable the unwanted apps after installing them this opportune rather than having app added continuously as you continue to install them.
And therefore, this is how we can remove or disable the apps that are being automatically added to the home screen.
From you home screen app, tap the play store app or locate the play store app at the home screen, as it is shown below .
The window below will appear for you to follow the next step. The window is very friendly to use as the play store is shown clearly.
